Saturday 8 September 2007 (UK) / Sunday 9 September (France) 23.17hrs UK time / 00.17hrs France - Text in - Nice weather today compared to the crossing last night, this morning. Very up and down day thinking we would not manage to start the Rally. Been driven round small french villages today by Serge (Ed.Note - Serge L'Homme - see our Disaster Report) and met loads of Locals, learnt lots of french too. Exciting day, looking forward to the actual rally. |

23.25hrs UK time / 00.25hrs France - Text in - Start in the morning is at 08.30hrs French time (07.30hrs UK) From Hotel Etap where we are staying in St. Omer. Challenges and maps handed to us in the morning at breakfast. No sat navs allowed now. All on maps. Will do complete update with pics and email asap - hitting the hay now. Just looking forward to the Start and so glad today turned out OK. Get the probs over early :-) |
