REPORT DAY 2 - Monday 10 September 2007 Koblenz, Germany - Bregenz, Austria THE DAY 2 CHALLENGE To photograph 16 Castles along the Rhine, as close to some example photographs we have been given!

Now passed Bingen am Rhein and have managed to photograph 14 of the 16 Schloss (Castles) en route.

Arrived in Bregenz, Austria - 330 miles, got 14 of the 16 Castles photographed - very heavy roadworks on the Autobahns, but all in all a good trip. Beautiful views. Weather dry but overcast. 1st arrivals, ahead of Motoscape again! Ed.note - this is NOT a race :-)

Rallyinfo - We have not yet received a full report apart from the Stop Press News published above. Alex & Dan are spending this evening checking over the car, particularly brakes and cooling system, as tomorrow (to Cortina in the heart of the Italian Dolomite Mountains) is going to be a tough stage. The area around Bolzano and Cortina is full of high mountain passes, rising to upwards of 2,000 metres (over 6,000 ft) with tight, tight and often blind hairpins that need to be negotiated with precision if you're going to get around in one go and not take off one of the front sides of the car against the rocky walls. Stop-Press: We've just been informed the Results of today's Challenge will be announced after tomorrows Stage - it's going to take some time to evaluate the photographs collected by the competitors and to judge them against the example images they were given to try and emulate.
